If you are interested in booking with me, the session fee of £60 is all that is required to confirm your slot. This secures your due date and your place in my diary. You won’t need to decide on any image collections until after your session, once you’ve seen your finished gallery and chosen the images you truly love. I keep the process relaxed and straightforward, with no pressure and no obligation to purchase anything you’re not completely happy with. You’ll find full details of what your £60 session fee includes in the FAQ below or on my pricing page.

I am fully trained in safe newborn posing techniques and I regularly blog about and promote this subject. I am also professionally trained in all aspects of studio lighting and post-processing techniques. In addition to being a newborn photography specialist, I photograph older babies, children, families and pets.

How long will my Newborn Photography session last?

I advise clients to allow up to four hours, as their session will work around the needs of baby with time allowed for nappy changes, feeds and gently encouraging babies into the safe and comfortable poses that I use.

What are your Photography Qualifications?

I am qualified with the UK's leading Professional Photography Bodies; the Guild of Professional Photographers and the British Institute of Professional Photography. I have undertaken newborn training with a variety of trainers including celebrity newborn photographer Ana Brandt. I am also trained in the use of professional studio lighting and post processing.

We’d like to book a newborn photography session but prefer not to have our child on social media. Is that okay?

Absolutely! Many professional photographers include copyright ownership in their terms and conditions, which is fairly standard. While I love showcasing my work on social media, what matters most is respecting your wishes. Your child’s privacy is a priority, and I completely understand your preference. Fortunately, most of my work comes through personal recommendations and online searches, so if you'd rather not have any previews shared, that’s perfectly fine with me!

When and How Should I Book?

Newborn sessions are best booked while you are still pregnant, as I only accept a limited number of bookings per month and am often booked months in advance. If you have already had your baby please do still get in touch as I will occasionally have last minute availability.

I recommend booking in advance, ideally before your baby arrives, as my diary does fill up quickly. However, if your little one is already here, please don’t worry - do still get in touch, as I may occasionally have last-minute availability.
