Hello! I'm Lorraine Jardim, Coventry’s most experienced newborn, baby and child photographer. 2025 marks 18 wonderful years of helping families across Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond create beautiful memories of those precious first days with their little ones. As a mum of three and new nanna myself, I understand how special the bond between a new baby and their family is, and I love capturing that connection through timeless, professional photography. I also offer first birthday cake smash and portraits of older babies, children, maternity, family and pets.

I am trained in safe newborn posing, as well as the technical aspects of photography such as lighting and post-processing techniques. As Coventry’s most established newborn photographer, I'm also professionally qualified with the UK’s two leading photography bodies, the British Institute of Professional Photography and the Guild of Professional Photographers. I've won awards for my images, but more important to me is my passion for promoting safe practice in newborn photography. I am very well known for my safe newborn with dog photography, so if you also have a fur-baby, he or she is most welcome to attend for photographs with their new brother or sister!

What are your prices?
I offer packages to suit all budgets and a milestone memories session bundle offer. Gift Vouchers are also available.
If you would like to book, the session fee of £60 is all that is payable up front to secure the slot, then you pay nothing more until you’ve chosen your finished images.

Where is your studio? My comfy and fully equipped newborn photography studio is in Fillongley, less than 20 minutes from Coventry City Centre via the B4098. My studio has off road parking, a wide range of props, comfortable seating and baby-changing facilities.
What kind of newborn photography sessions do you offer? I specialise in both traditional posed newborn photography, using props like buckets and baskets, and a more relaxed lifestyle approach, capturing my tiny clients in a natural way without excessive posing. This allows me to photograph newborns beyond the two-week window that many photographers require. Even if your baby is a little older, I can still create stunning portraits for you. Many of my clients appreciate a blend of both posed and more relaxed newborn images.
What should I expect during my newborn photography session? Sessions are baby-led and relaxed, with plenty of time allowed for feeds, nappy changes, and cuddles. I use safe posing techniques, soft lighting, and I have a variety of props and fabrics to create stunning images.
Are my older children welcome to attend the session? Absolutely! Parent, sibling and family photos are included in all of my sessions, no matter which package you choose. You can also include your pet dog at no extra charge.
What should we bring to the session? You don’t need to bring anything special—my studio is fully equipped with baby wraps and props. However, feel free to bring any personal items you would like included. Once we have confirmed a date I will send you a pre-session booklet detailing everything you need to bring and how to prepare.
How do I book a newborn session? You can contact me through my website or via phone on 07765 718415. It’s best to book during your pregnancy to secure your spot.
What if I don't feel up to such an early newborn session? No problem! I photograph babies of all ages, so why not consider an older baby session for little ones aged 12 weeks to one year? These sessions are £50 (session only) and you'll find examples of my older baby photos here.
